Cameron Highlands, which occupies the northwestern part of the state of Pahang, is Malaysia's largest and most popular hill resort. It is about 3 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur.
The Lakehouse is situated at approximately 1,000 m above sea level in the Cameron Highlands, about 200 km north of Malaysia's capital - Kuala Lumpur. Set in an area dubbed the "The Valley of Eternal Spring", this Tudor-style country house, backed by state reserve forests, sits atop a hill overlooking the Sultan Abu Bakar Lake. A short distance from the towns of Tanah Rata and Ringlet, it is within close proximity to many key attractions.
Cameron Highlands is 200km from Kuala Lumpur. The quickest route is by the North–South Expressway, turning in near the town of Tapah (Exit No 132). From Tapah, you will take a scenic road, which is about 60km, to Cameron Highlands. An alternative route via the Simpang Pulai (Exit No 137) if you are travelling from the North or Penang, which is about 140 km to Cameron Highlands.
